Hello,
I live in Canada and find your fencing system very interesting.
Do you ship to Canada? I can't find any shipping costs? Thanks.
—Gwen, Ontario
To our northern neighbors in Canada and beyond, please call or email us for
details on shipping. We'd be happy to accommodate your requests as
best as we can.
Hi,
I'm quite interested in your gardendefender. We're in the hills in
Southern California and have loads of deer, rabbits etc. But there
are also gophers and birds galore! I'm guessing in addition to the
fencing we could plant over some sort of mesh on the ground to keep
the gophers out, and perhaps put some bird net over the top? Any
ideas? This is a project to teach the kids about gardening, so
really don't want their hard work being eaten by all the wildlife
around here...
Thanks, —Jennifer, CA
Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for your interest. Some of your questions can be answered
by what you grow. Most home gardeners are interested in above ground
vegetables with the exception of maybe turnips and carrots. The two
main threats are rabbits and deer. Other animals and birds are not
interested in vegetables. Our units give you total protection
against rabbits and deer which can destroy your garden literally
overnight. They work extremely well because they are fairly compact
and deer hate jail cells. Rabbits cannot get through the frame and
they will not go underneath.
Your family will enjoy the fruits (er vegetables) of their labor. I
hope this answers your questions.

I am interested in making a dog exercise area alongside of our house
from your 2' x 4' panels. The 4' edge would be along the ground with
the panel 2' high (it's a small dog). Two sides will each be 8' long
(2 panels connected) and one side will be 16' long (4 panels
connected) - the 4th side is the house.
I have to take this all down once a week for lawn mowing and
set-up again after the mowing.
I will be leaving it out all year long! Is this plan at all
possible?
—Lawrence J., Lake Forest, IL
Dear Lawrence,
You can do this but you will be required to purchase the small unit
as a whole. Once built, you can take it apart at the corners. I
would not recommend using the unit for a dog any larger than a
beagle. I have one of those! -Bob
Bob, I have been very happy with the garden defender. Thanks
again! Just one question - I am guessing I need to bring it inside for the
winter - is a shed ok?
Thanks! —Linda S., Gary, Indiana
Dear Linda,
Thank you for your note. The Shed would be perfect. -Bob
